چکیده
Abstract In recent years, Ni-Cu alloy coatings obtained by electrolytic deposition have received increasing interest, because of their good anti-corrosive, mechanical, magnetic, electrical, and decorative properties. Further applications these for electrode materials catalysts may be possible developing hierarchical surface morphology, thus a combination high roughness, microhardness, corrosion resistance. the present work, four types were deposited in single-step process from baths with Cu 2+ :Ni concentrations equal to 1:30, 1:20, 1:15, 1:10 using current densities 2 A/dm 4 . The morphology was characterized scanning electron microscope an optical profilometer. exhibited nodular which change ratio parameters changed smooth compact rougher regularly spaced microprotrusions. Thus, obtained. Transmission microscopy investigations revealed that fine-grained microstructure consisted γ solid solution, as well metastable intermetallic L1 0 NiCu phase. differences concentration at cross-sections demonstrated quantitative microanalysis chemical composition indicated dendritic growth preferential reduction copper ions over nickel ions. also microhardness greater than 3.71 GPa electrochemical resistance chloride media. Coatings roughness showed higher current. study provides new method electrodeposition under specific compositions bath conditions, promising properties catalytic applications. Graphical

Electrodeposited Co – Ni – Al O composite coatings 2 3
Composite coatings of Co–Ni–Al O were studied by electrolytic codeposition of Co–Ni alloys and Al O from a sulfamate 2 3 2 3 electrolyte containing Al O particles. The influence of plating parameters on the content of the co-deposited Al O particles in 2 3 2 3 Co–Ni alloys was investigated. The maximum value of co-deposited Al O can be achieved at a particle content of 80 g l in y1 2 3 bath, a ...
متن کاملElectrodeposited lead dioxide coatings.
Lead dioxide coatings on inert substrates such as titanium and carbon now offer new opportunities for a material known for 150 years. It is now recognised that electrodeposition allows the preparation of stable coatings with different phase structures and a wide range of surface morphologies. In addition, substantial modification to the physical properties and catalytic activities of the coatin...
متن کاملReactions in Electrodeposited Cu/Sn and Cu/Ni/Sn Nanoscale Multilayers for Interconnects
Miniaturization of electronic devices has led to the development of 3D IC packages which require ultra-small-scale interconnections. Such small interconnects can be completely converted into Cu-Sn based intermetallic compounds (IMCs) after reflow. In an effort to improve IMC based interconnects, an attempt is made to add Ni to Cu-Sn-based IMCs. Multilayer interconnects consisting of stacks of C...
متن کاملMechanical properties of reticulated aluminum foams with electrodeposited Ni–W coatings
The struts of reticulated aluminum foams were coated with nanocrystalline Ni–W by electrodeposition. The thickness and composition of these high-strength coatings are controlled by varying the bath chemistry, applied current conditions and deposition time. Despite an increase in density as compared to the uncoated foams, the coated foams exhibit improvements in both absolute and specific streng...
